About LifeX Research
LifeX Research Corp is a health data and research organization. It collects and analyzes health data to advance longevity, healthy aging, and overall wellness, with a preventive, longitudinal research focus.
LifeX gathers voluntary lifestyle, biometric, and wellness information from its employees, called Research Associates, through questionnaires and tracking tools.
Research Associates are employees
A Research Associate is a W-2 employee of LifeX Research who voluntarily participates in health data collection activities.
Research Associates are employees and participants in LifeX's research.
The employee benefit program
As part of their employment, Research Associates have access to wellness benefits through the LifeX employee health benefit plan. The plan is ERISA-governed and self-funded.
Depending on the plan selected, benefits may include employee medical benefits and 24/7 telemedicine, with dental and vision options available.

Health data and privacy
LifeX collects, handles, and shares data in compliance with applicable law, including HIPAA, and is transparent with participants about how their data is used.
Personally identifying information is removed before any data is analyzed or shared. LifeX shares only population-level, anonymized insights with Research Partners under research agreements.
Your role as a recruiter
Recruiters help LifeX Research find Research Associates. You are recruiting employees into LifeX Research, and recruiters are compensated through recruiting fees.
When you present LifeX, describe it as a health data and research organization, its enrolled employees as Research Associates, and their benefits as an employee health benefit plan or wellness benefits.
